Kath has been working in the design and construction fields for over 25 years. She was a Museum Exhibition Designer before shifting gears to focus on sustainable construction and green buildings. Her professional work has focused on green building certification systems and she is an experienced Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Living Building Challenge consultant. For the latter projects she took a deep dive into the world of healthy building materials, creating training materials that made this complex process more manageable for project teams.

Kath and her family live in the hills of Western Massachusetts in an off-grid home. Kath holds a BA in Anthropology from McGill University, an MA in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design from the University of the Arts and an MS in Environmental Conservation with a Concentration in Building Systems from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
