Having worked across design, policy, and finance, Catherine brings a rare 360-degree view to every project she takes on. After first learning about the built environment's impact on climate, Catherine committed to building a career in sustainable architecture. She became a licensed architect and LEED AP, and spent nearly a decade working on some of Vermont's largest and most complex projects, ranging from CityPlace in Burlington to affordable housing retrofits in large, historic buildings. Inspired to grow into a bigger-picture role and further her impact, Catherine left architectural practice to earn an MBA with a focus in Sustainable Innovation. She then worked in affordable housing finance as part of the development team at VHFA, reviewing projects statewide for affordability, livability, and sustainability.

As an Owner's Project Manager at HELM, Catherine works closely with clients to bring their visions to fruition - whether that's a non-profit director leading a major expansion or an individual taking on their first housing development project. Her deep understanding of how buildings are designed, constructed, and financed provides invaluable expertise to her clients. Catherine loves digging into each project’s unique challenges and getting creative with the whole team on individualized solutions.

She lives in Essex, VT with her husband and two young boys and can be found adventuring outside in every season - she particularly loves a fall hike, the thrill of a race, and sliding on snow.
