Entry-Level Cabinetmaker

Our shop is in need of entry-level cabinetmakers with a desire to learn alongside our shop manager in a creative environment. Shop/woodworking experience is preferred, finishing experience is a plus. Ability to work well with others is essential, as are verbal communication skills. Training will be provided on unfamiliar machines.

Responsibilities and Duties

● Follow proper build techniques and tool procedures per the Mighty Roots’ shop

● Assist with deliveries and stock accordingly (ability to lift 80 lbs)

● Install hardware such as hinges, drawer slides, catches, trash pull-outs, and any other hardware associated with the project

● Perform detail sand to all fabricated pieces

● Communicate any tool/machine concerns to lead cabinetmaker/shop manager

● Maintain clean shop and working environment

● Communicate with lead cabinetmaker regarding any needed materials

● Follow safety protocols

● Able to understand verbal and written instructions and envision all steps in assigned tasks

● Demonstrate time management skills
