Lead Carpenter

HVP is looking to add a Lead Carpenter to our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and looking to expand their leadership in the high-performance residential construction industry. A candidate should have layout and framing experience, along with finish carpentry skills. In addition, the successful applicant will have the ability to be self-directed and a willingness to learn while applying building science principles to challenging projects.

Additionally, candidates must have excellent communication and quality control skills, and the ability to handle the tools of the trade safely and efficiently. Experience in a Lead Carpenter position is a plus, but not required; we are willing to train a candidate with the right mix of skills and ambition to grow into a leadership role. This position is fulltime, and the work is generally within 25 miles of Kent, CT.

Driver's License and reliable transportation required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
